Cell biology would be a lot easier to if we could just grab a single cell from a population and manipulate it. But getting a good grip on something at micro-scale isn't straightforward. Lightcast have developed a platform that suspends single cells in droplets that can be manipulated with great freedom for true single-cell screening.
